Everything was excellent. The staff are extremely friendly and know the menu very well and obviously like working here and chatting with customers. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. Fresh, tasty and excellent service. Really cannot ask for more from a quaint small town diner. 5 stars . I will definitely be back!!

Today was my first time eating there . I had Biscuits and gravy and sausage patties. Some of the best biscuits I have had anywhere.Very nice down-home atmosphere. There was the local regulars table

Had the number one with country ham, they need to give you a pillow with it. Because you will need a nap if you can finish all that great food. Pancakes, biscuits and gravy, and eggs. Well worth the money and great service!!!

After escaping Florida’s hurricane Milton, we landed in Tennessee and decided to eat breakfast at mama D’s. It was one of the most lovely experiences of our dining out… Fresh food, nice and southern styled! Really nice and I knew it was going to be so because it was crowded from locals!

The food was really good. It needs to be updated inside but with the food and service, I was really impressed. The biscuits are honestly the best I've ever eaten in my entire life. I will definitely be back.

Driving through Ashland City to Franklin. Found Mama D's simply Googling breakfast in AC.Phenomenal. Seriously. The absolute best biscuits we have ever had.Got the #4-biscuts and gravy with one meat. Choose bacon. Was not disappointed.Biscuits were buttery and light. If you come here, a must order. You won't be disappointed.Sounds extreme, but the best breakfast we can remember. And we travel a lot.
